Mosaic “Pallas Athene” Inspired by the great artist Gustav Klimt the mosaic masterpiece “Pallas Athene” was created. “Pallas Athene” was chosen by me for the reason that I believe restoration on Klimt`s original drawing went wrong with background.
I did a lot of research and it seems to me that the background was adulterated and varies with the original drawing by Klimt. Many published pictures now show the “new” background. I made great efforts to study the original painting before restoration upon available material in order to obtain great knowledge before I started the mosaic. Within my artwork, attention to detail was a crucial ingredient in the process.
Each piece was hand-cut with utmost care. Especially the gold elements set by using “Orsoni Gold” as main material of this artwork enhance the value. “Pallas Athene” is a unique, handmade artwork of reliable quality and fascinating colours. Experience the authentic feel!
